Laundry and some fun stuff

We are getting more settled in. It has been good to get the house put together so we can get on with life. It's too bad that my family still needs to eat and have clean clothes. Life would be a lot simpler if they would wait on those things until we were all done getting settled!

Here is the shot of my laundry on Monday. I put the first load in at 5:40 a.m. and took the last load out of the dryer at 7:30 p.m. Yikes!!!

One difference in our house here is a lot less wall space. There are more windows and it has a more open floor plan. I wasn't sure where I was going to put everything, so I basically combined all the different kid's pictures I had around the house onto one wall. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I am really happy with it. It goes up pretty high but it is fun to look at.
I am beginning to catch my breath. It has been a crazy couple of months. I am looking forward to some sort of routine and a little less chaos!

Angela!!! I LOVE the wall. La-huv it. If I could figure out a wall to do it on in my house, I would totally steal that idea! And good job for getting all the laundry done in one day. That's a huge accomplishment!

laundry in one day - that's amazing - in my case i would think that would be just a myth - lol.

I love your kids picture wall. I am totally going to copy you on that one. And the laundry, first load in at 5:40?!?!? Is that your usual wake up time. I HATE mornings... I have to drag myself out of bed at 6:45 to get the kids off to school. As usual, you are always impressive :) actually inspiring is a good word too :) I am glad you are coming back to the blogging world, since it is the only way we catch up, except for your occassional trips to idaho! Take care and post some more pics of your house.

Love the wall! You know by blogging it that we're ALL going to copy you right? I'd love to see more of your house too! Gotta run and do laundry! Thanks for inspiring me to get it all done in one day:)

What a super cute idea!!! I may have to steal that one when I get a nice house of my own (we are heading back to school in the fall, so back to an apt. for a couple years!). Anyway, good job on getting laundry done in a day - was it all folded too? ;) That's my down fall - I can wash it all (usually) in one day, but then it takes it a while to get it folded and back into the drawers!
