The big deal around here lately is "Utah Peaches". Everyone has them for sale advertised as "Utah Peaches". I've canned a bunch and made jam this last week. I'm actually pretty sick of Utah Peaches now. But thanks Utah for sharing your bounty with us lowly Arizonans!
That is so true! I was just telling a friend that "Utah Peaches" are a big deal in Mesa, and now that I live here I can just call them "peaches"! I've canned and made numerous desserts and breakfasts with them and am now getting a little sick of them too:)
I'm impressed with all those canned peaches! Someone here had to set me straight on the difference between grocery store peaches and Utah peaches (To me it made sense to buy the .89 vs. .99 + the trip across town to pick them up) Not so I guess. Enjoy those peaches!
I am impressed! I bought a box of Utah peaches and froze some, but mostly we ate them fresh. (And, sadly, had to throw some moldy ones out - such a shame.) You are my domestic hero!
